On the Runway at Expo 67

24 August | 05h45 PM

Experience Expo 67 Fashion as if you were there!

Immerse yourself in the effervescent time that was Expo 67 and relive 1960’s fashion, an event put on in collaboration with the Fashion & Design Festival and presented as part of the exhibition Fashioning Expo 67.

Montreal’s fashion icons will walk the runway showcasing vintage 1960’s creations in all their color and splendor! Clothing will be provided by Espace Costume as well as personal favorites selected by both Chantal Lamarre, ambassador of Fashioning Expo 67 exhibition, and her associate Sylvie Dumontier, the duo also known as Les Galipeau’s.

In an ambiance reminiscent of Expo 67’s runways featuring models on roller-skates, marvel at the exclusive looks presented by our models for the day: AngeLo Cadet, Alexandre Turcotte (Ton Barbier), Anne-Lovely Etienne (Journal de Montréal et 24 heures), Carolane Stratis (Ton petit look), Caroline Ellie (The Everyday Luxury), Carrie Macpherson (Eat, Drink and Be Carrie), Josiane Stratis (Ton petit look), Lolitta Dandoy (Fashion is everywhere) and Vincent Mazrou (Mazrou)! Montreal artist and musician Tony Almonte, internationally known, will honor Expo 67 by revisiting the music of the 1960s.

Join us on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 5:45 p.m. at Place des Festivals. The fashion will take place on Passerelle Casino de Montréal (main scene).
