CANADA’S LONGEST FASHION SHOW AT THE FASHION + DESIGN FESTIVAL

Spectacular. Bold. Innovative. These are the words that illustrate the longest parade in Canada in collaboration with XP_MTL and LaSalle College. A moment out of the ordinary that filled the eyes of all passers-by on Sainte-Catherine Street. With a futuristic theme, the class of 2021 fashion students took up the challenge by proposing some of the most original designs. An event that once again highlighted the talent of the next generation of fashion designers as well as the dynamism of downtown Montreal.

A parade of nearly 3km long

Starting at LaSalle College and ending at the Place des Festivals, close to 100 models paraded all along Sainte-Catherine Street. Music and excitement were the order of the day. With an obligatory detour to Place Ville-Marie, we witnessed an extraordinary multicolored show that exceeded all expectations. What to have glitter in the eyes.

As you will have noticed, it is not the pandemic that prevents us from breaking once again the records of fashion and its creative succession. We must dare to think big, and make innovation our greatest asset every day.
